Danielle Leigh Smith and Richard Augustus Leeper were united in marriage at 6 p.m. Saturday, May 23, in St. Edward Catholic Church. Deacon John McAllister of Christ the King Catholic Church officiated.
The bride is the daughter of Cheryl and Ralph Smith, 7809 Leawood Blvd., and the granddaughter of Una and the late Floyd Couvillion of Lake Charles, La., and Evelyn and the late Louis Smith of DeQuincy, La.
Tami and Richard Leeper of Austin, Texas, are the parents of the groom. His grandparents are Dorothy Cartwright of Elgin, Texas, and Ermalou and John Leeper of Portland, Ore.
The altar held two iron candelabra banked with pomander balls of purple, peach and pink wedding flowers. Music was by organist Phillip Quick.

Given in marriage by her parents, the bride wore a long-sleeve lace gown with a deep V-back and a rose-gold belt at the waist. In her hair she wore a rose-gold comb embellished with clear stones and pearls. She carried a clutch bouquet of dahlias, purple calla lilies, peach stock and coral ranunculus.
Serving as the bride's attendants were Ashley Dick of Maumelle, who wore a black lace cocktail dress with a ribbon around the waist; and Annabeth Hazelwood of Benton, who wore a long black dress embellished with black lace. They wore wrist corsages of purple miniature calla lilies, ranunculus and peach stock.
Emory Paige Smith of Little Rock, niece of the bride, was flower girl.
Guests were seated by Jacob Smith of Little Rock, brother of the bride, and Samuel Leeper of Austin, brother of the groom.
A reception at Next Level Events followed the ceremony. The buffet held tall cylinders filled with purple calla lilies, peach stock and coral ranunculus. Guest tables alternated arrangements of gold candlesticks and gold containers holding arrangements of wedding flowers. Cocktail tables held clear cylinder vases with floating candles and rose petals.
The bride has an associate degree in nursing from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock and a bachelor's degree in nursing from Arkansas State University at Jonesboro. She is a registered nurse.
The groom graduated summa cum laude with a bachelor's degree in business administration from UALR, where he was a member of the basketball team. He is an associate of the Private Client Group at Stephens Inc.
The couple will make their home in Little Rock.
